House puts off DTV transition until June
The last major obstacle in the way of moving the digital-TV transition from Feb. 17 to June 12 was overcome Wednesday when the House of Representatives voted 264-158 in favor of a four-month delay. A similar measure had already passed in the Senate, and now a combined bill will go to President Barack Obama, who has said he is in favor of the June 12 date.
